Installation - The
Luna
The Luna table, market and beach parasol can set up for portable
use or can be installed for a more permanent look. If you need to
move your Luna on a frequent basis, you can purchase a Portable
Base. If you want a more permanent option, purchase the
Spigot/Base Plate Combination. For use on the beach, we offer a
Beach parasol Converter. If you plan to insert the Luna into a
table already set up with an parasol holder, then you will not
need any of the Luna fitting options. No matter which option you
choose, keep in mind that the Luna is not designed for use in
strong winds, therefore we recommend that it be left in the
folded position when unattended or not in use.

Luna Portable Base (optional) |
Simply fill the Portable Base with concrete and then screw
the Spigot into the Portable Base, which comes complete with
bolts and washers. The diameter of the Portable Base is 590mm.
The Portable Base is for the Luna shademaker only. We do not
offer a Portable Base for any other shademaker as the Spigot for
each of the other shademakers is designed to be bolted either
directly into a timber deck or concrete patio, into a Base Plate
or into an In Ground Fitting.
Spigot & Base Plate Combination (optional) If your table does
not have a built-in method of holding or anchoring the Luna, or
if you want to use your Luna as a standalone parasol and do not
plan to move it frequently, you can purchase a Luna Spigot &
Base Plate Combination. This allows you to bolt the Luna Base
Plate into a timber deck or concrete patio and then bolt the Luna
Spigot onto the Base Plate, eliminating the need to use the
larger Luna Portable Base.
Luna Beach parasol Converter (optional) The Luna is also designed
for use on the beach. Purchase the pointed Luna Beach parasol
Converter, simply slide it onto the end of your Luna and it
becomes a standard beach parasol. The Beach parasol Converter is
made of commercial grade plastics, guaranteeing
longevity.
