ShadeArt’s stunning Alterra S cantilever chosen for luxury UK estate

The client first visited us in our Welwyn Garden City showroom and shade factory in May 2024 to view our range of commercial-grade side- and centre-post parasols. The SHADEmakers team listened to the client's shade brief for a large, rectangular side post parasol to cover their grand custom timber outdoor table. With two areas to cover, ideally one mobile parasol for both was preferred, also, so it can be moved out of sight to view an uninterrupted landscape when not in use.

In January 2025, the client and SHADEmakers fine-tuned the brief to a 3x4 Alterra S cantilever parasol in Anthracite (dark grey) finish with 360˚ rotation. A matching colour 300kg pedestal base with lockable heavy-duty castors was included, along with a UK-tailored Ecru (Off white) canopy for dappled light on those grey days. This level of customisation allowed the client to create a parasol that perfectly suited their needs and preferences.
